Started life as a chord progression, but then i had the idea to get creative with the rhythms. I didn't want a standard 4/4 but rather some 5/4 like beats with maybe some 10/8 thrown in for good measure. It's sort of countable, but yet it's not. I decided to also try another chord progression, because i had a cool idea to stack them on top and see the results, which the result was kind of beautiful. It's like E Major meets A Major. The melodies are then built around the stacks of chords, sort of making it very chill and ethereal. It's not so much happy as it is, peaceful. I the main source of the groove comes from the breaks and the 808 kick drum. I think i've talked for too long, enjoy!
